Beautiful story...I'm thrilled to read about all this fun my friends in Little Rock are having DOING AS JESUS SUGGESTED/COMMANDED his followers do for life more abundant. It sounds like you guys are making it fun! It's so good to see how a group like Canvas is not getting caught up in so much of the culture arguments going on with many churches these days...you guys are too busy helping the poor! I think it's wonderful and am spreading your success to my friends and my church here in Nashville, Tennessee!

I have been going through many changes over the past year and some brilliant transformations. I also watched Outsourced AGAIN the other day as I was flipping through the channels and was looking for Kali Goddess information when I ran into this site. I didn't hear it last time while watching, but the Goddess of Destruction comment really stuck with me due to my mindset. Recently mourning over the loss of a very close friendship, I have been doing a lot of soul searching. Some people may walk along side of you, fall behind sometimes, and some will sadly try to hold you back. As much as I have loved through the good and bad, I have to keep moving forward for me. Like the character, I'd never thought destruction was a good thing either, but the insight of allowing old cycles to end so new cycles can begin is profound. Thank you for you post. I can truly relate and appreciate being a human being with people like you out there. We're not alone.

Well said, Marie. I have had to learn that when life is hard it doesn't mean that life is bad. It actually makes us better when it is hard. When my kids complain that something is hard, I will say "if you show me where 'easy' was promised we can continue this conversation, otherwise we have work to do".
