Worship

canvascommunity is a new faith community that wants to see the church reflect the world we live and work in. We are committed to making worship relevant to our lives today. You won’t find the “same” worship week after week — our worship changes with the situations we encounter as a community. We take the very best available to us — in music, drama, art and media — and use it to engage the community.

We don’t all share the same beliefs, background, or faith history. What we do share is a willingness to walk the journey together —  loving God (as we understand God), one another, and our neighbors as best we can.

 

 

 Communion is the center of our worship and all are welcome to God’s table. This important sacrament allows us to gather around the table as a community — reinforcing the message of hope and reconciliation to all we meet.

What should I wear?

Canvascommunity has a casual and informal style. Whether you’re coming straight from the office, straight from class, or straight off the street, we invite you to come as you are.

 

Do you have childcare? 
Nursery care is available for infants up to 4 years of age. Canvaskids is an alternative for children ages 3 and up that allows them to learn about worship for themselves.
